Michael Porcello Really mathy, awesome vocals, and an overall unique and amazing vibe throughout the whole album make this a must listen album. Also don't forget to check out their other album, Prints! Favorite track: Ursa, Minor.

Daniel "Jazzes" brings up some '90s nostalgia with its alternative style and the way the vocals are woven into the music. In spite of the alternative style, the music expands with post/math rock influences and progressive rock song structures lacking the playtime of said genre. “Jazzes” is a very nice EP that I enjoy listening to – the biggest letdown being the short playtime (16 minutes) – Vernon Wayne will definitely grow with this release musical wise and I’ll be waiting for their next release.

Track Name: Ghost Arms and Phantom Lips
Smells like something has gone awry / can’t depend on no-one
Catch the fever and say goodnight / can’t defend my own blood

Can’t decide whether to flail or kiss
with these God-given / ghost arms and phantom lips

Smells like something has gone awry / can’t depend on no-one
Catch the fever and say goodnight / can’t defend my own blood
Track Name: Get Your Torche
End fiend / manic
let the light approach you

Empty / planet
let the photons torch you

Stay with me / Bend my light towards you
Ending dimness / phase our lives into

Stay with me / Bend my light towards you
Ending dimness / phase our lives into
Track Name: Ursa, Minor
Dear Ursa, Love / I guess what we had just wasn't real
The day you left / began an unfolding of reveals

Oh, for every minor chord there's a major voice

Your rabid dog / can guard you but can he make a home?
What have you now? / you find yourself five years more alone

Running from / the specter of a chromosomal clone
what have you now? / You find yourself five years more alone.

You find yourself five years more alone
Track Name: Tony Rides his Horse Forever, Always
Doldrums
Vest strapped to me / always
Potholed path stretched on we / always
What we ride for ever / escapes me
Long days fight forever / always ride

You’ll find that if we didn’t care / nothing happens
If we ever wish to save / all this progress
You’ll strap your fucking horse to ride / always forever

Because we wanna seize the day / we ride forever
You’ll strap your fucking horse to ride / always forever
We’ll arm ourselves and hope to die / only forever
Track Name: The History of Time (and Cats)
Time will resent no one man
instead / forsakes us all
forsakes us all

Will you pull the plug?
reprieval / reprieval / reprieval
